Arisaka Defense

Arisaka LLC is a development and manufacturing company led by Walter Fowler and William Roberson. They share a passionate enthusiasm for shooting sports and strive to develop unique, well-engineered components and accessories for the shooting sports industry.

Both Walt and Will have the utmost respect for the men and women who serve our country. Their family ties to the U.S. military span several generations, dating back to World War II. Walt grew up as the son of an Air Force officer and Will as the son of an Army officer, and their fathers are both Vietnam veterans. During World War II, Will’s grandfather served on the USS Arkansas and the USS Shangri-La, and an uncle served in the 442nd RCT.

As Japanese Americans, they chose the name Arisaka to honor their cultural heritage and pay tribute to Arisaka Nariakira, one of Japan’s most renowned firearms designers. Many of the core principles of Japanese culture—such as perseverance, teamwork, harmony, and family—have a direct influence on Arisaka’s operations.

All Arisaka products are designed, tested, and manufactured on our own CNC machines in the United States. We are proud to employ Americans.
