Optics Ready

Every PDP is designed for red dot sights. Recessed deep into the slide, the PDP’s excellent sighting performance can be fully utilized.

Co-witness sights can be used simultaneously. This allows the dot from the optical sight to be registered quickly and subconsciously.

Thanks to the unique design of the slide, red dots can be integrated almost seamlessly.

Additionally, the unique contouring at the end of the grip provides support for the little finger and aids in instinctively aiming the firearm—like an invisible guide.

Modularity

The PDP is the most modular and versatile pistol Walther has ever built:

Picatinny rail, optics-ready, side-reversible magazine release, three barrel lengths, and two grip lengths—each with three grip inserts.

This makes it ideally suited for any law enforcement application.

The open sights on the Walther PDP Full Size 5.1 OR PRO SD use standard mounting dimensions. When it comes to choosing sights, the aftermarket offers nearly limitless possibilities.

With a magazine funnel, the Performance Duty Pistol becomes a top-tier competition pistol.

Reliability

The cartridge chamber’s stepped design ensures the casing is reliably ejected. This allows the PDP to extract more muzzle energy from the ammunition and reduces powder residue inside the firearm. As a result, the PDP performs better over a longer period. PDP: “Made to be shot”!

Safety Features

The loaded indicator on the extractor shows whether a cartridge is in the chamber. In addition, the trigger, firing pin, and shooter safety (disconnect) provide even greater safety.

A firearm acquisition permit is required to purchase this weapon.
