The IWI Tavor X95 is not without reason touted as the superstar of IWI’s latest generation. Upgrades and improvements to the original Tavor SAR include a new fire control system with a trigger pull of approximately 2.4 kg. A repositioning of the magazine in the style of the AR-15 and the option for a two-handed magazine release greatly improve handling. The Picatinny rails on the forend at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, complete with removable covers, allow for all kinds of customizations. A modular Tavor-style pistol grip—which can, however, be replaced with a traditional pistol grip—and the relocation of the charging handle closer to the center of gravity, along with a lower bolt release button, make the Tavor X95 unique.
