Based on its predecessor, the MCX Virtus, the new MCX-SPEAR LT features a lighter handguard with mounting screws for added rigidity and a lighter profiled barrel with improved accuracy. Additional features of the MCX-SPEAR LT include an ambidextrous bolt catch and release on the lower receiver, a coyote-anodized finish, a minimalist stock for maximum compactness, and compatibility with the AR15 trigger.
