All articles from SIG Sauer
In 1853, Friedrich Peyer im Hof, Heinrich Moser, and Conrad Neher founded a successful railcar factory called SIG above the Rhine Falls in Switzerland.
At the time, they had no idea that their company would become one of the world’s most renowned manufacturers of handguns.
Starting in 1860, SIG also began manufacturing firearms. SIG gained prominence primarily through the production of the SIG P210 and SIG P220 pistols, as well as the Swiss Army’s Sturmgewehr 57 and Sturmgewehr 90 assault rifles. Since 2020, the American company SIG Sauer Inc. and the Swiss company SIG Sauer AG from Schaffhausen have been the sole manufacturers of SIG Sauer-brand firearms, with the Swiss manufacturer specializing primarily in SIG 550-type assault rifles.
Today, SIG SAUER is one of the most renowned firearms manufacturers and supplies government agencies and the military in particular. However, its product line for sport shooters is also very extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. Browse our SIG SAUER product line and let us advise you.
