Webley & Scott is a firearms manufacturer founded in Birmingham, England. Webley manufactured handguns and long guns from 1834 to 1979. After that, the company ceased production of firearms and instead focused on manufacturing air pistols and air rifles. In 2010, Webley & Scott resumed production of shotguns for commercial sale.
Webley is famous for the revolvers and submachine guns that the company supplied to the military of the British Empire—and in particular to the British Army—from 1887 through World War I and World War II.
