Hornady is a U.S. ammunition manufacturer founded in 1949 and headquartered in Grand Island, Nebraska. The company played a key role in the development of cartridges such as the .17 HMR and the .17 HM 2, as well as the .204 Ruger, the .375 Ruger, and the .480 Ruger. Hornady is also the only major, family-owned manufacturer of reloading products that produces bullets and cases in addition to all types of reloading equipment.
