C&H Precision

C&H Precision (CHPWS) is a small family-owned business based in Richmond Hill, Georgia, serving the shooting sports community. We specialize in the design and manufacture of precision-machined optic adapter plates for mounting red dot sights on handguns, as well as in the milling of pistol slide upgrades and the design and manufacture of custom projects for the firearms industry.

C&H Precision was founded in 2012 with a primary focus on machining and building custom precision rifles for competition, sports, and hunting. In 2017, the company moved from Florida to its current location in Richmond Hill, GA. The founder, Buck Holly, was asked to design and manufacture various firearm-related parts, including optical adapter plates for handguns. He quickly recognized the potential of these parts and began shifting the company’s focus toward the development and manufacture of these adapter plates. He lived at the factory so he could load and unload materials into the machines around the clock, and he rapidly expanded the company by adding more machinery, hiring additional staff, and purchasing a second building to increase capacity.

C&H grew from about 5 employees in 2019 to over 30 employees in 2022.

Today, the company is closely intertwined with both the red-dot sight and handgun industries and is considered the gold standard for reliable, precision-engineered optical mounting parts for handguns. In addition to selling to the general public, C&H supplies professionals in all areas of law enforcement, as well as federal agencies such as the FBI, ATF, USMS, and military units around the world.
