B&T Industries

B&T Industries L.L.C. was founded by two Kansans—one who had the idea and the other who had the capital—to bring a new concept to the sport of shooting. The company’s business principles were based on an innovative, common-sense idea: products made from the best materials, assembled by Americans, and sold at a fair price.

The idea to found B&T Ind. came about during a prairie dog hunt in 1997, when a good friend of the company had forgotten his sandbag and resorted to a tried-and-true, practical solution: he stuffed dirt into the sock he had been wearing.

In January 2000, after many trials and challenges in modeling, prototyping, and testing, the patented Accu-Shot monopod was launched and became the “sandbag of the 21st century.” Simply put: The Accu-Shot monopod provides the necessary portable stability and support without the bulk, weight, clutter, and associated requirements of a sandbag, all in a lightweight mechanical device that attaches to the rifle.

Since then, B&T Industries has grown steadily and has listened to feedback from professional and amateur shooters regarding the sport and their needs. We’re known for responding to our customers’ needs and striving to improve our products and bring new ones to market.

Just as Accu-Shot brought rear stabilization into the modern era, B&T Industries LLC has done the same with the bipod used to support the front of a rifle. The Atlas Bipod was introduced in 2010 with several patented features, including innovative multi-position leg adjustment, pan, and cant in a lightweight, sturdy package that has resonated with civilian, law enforcement, and military shooters around the world.
