SIG SAUER Romeo-M17

The M17 and M18 pistols were selected by the U.S. military as official sidearms, and the ROMEO-M17 is the only sight specifically designed for this pistol. All other sights have many drawbacks and involve numerous compromises. The ROMEO-M17 does not. It is a U.S.-manufactured MIL-SPEC red dot sight that truly lives up to the SIG SAUER name.

*Please note—The ROMEO-M17 red dot sight for pistols uses SIG SAUER’s proprietary SIG-LOC mounting interface and fits only SIG SAUER M17/M18 military pistols and commemorative pistols with a single mounting screw for the sight plate. This sight does not fit other pistols.

A fully enclosed, sealed, and cleaned optical system for ultimate protection against the elements

Mounts beneath the pistol slide, reusing the MHS front sight block and sight block screw

Integrated gas deflector at the front of the housing

SIG-LOC™ (SIG Leverage Optimizing Connection)—a proprietary mounting interface for the ultimate connection between the scope and the pistol.

A highly efficient LED spot illuminator with 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle reticles. The reticles can be selected independently (circle only, dot only, or circle/dot combination).

Independent brightness adjustment buttons recessed into the guard plate that can be operated even while wearing gloves. The buttons feature a raised bump above the “UP” button and below the “DOWN” button, allowing them to be identified by touch.

15 brightness settings, 3 of which are optimized for use with Generation 3+ night vision devices

A side-mounted CR2032 battery compartment with a threaded cap allows for easy battery replacement without having to remove the optic from the weapon. The cap is slotted and knurled and can be operated with or without a tool.

Minimum continuous runtime of 20,000 hours at medium brightness setting

2 drainage holes on the sides of the housing, directly behind the rear sealed window, to allow liquid to escape when the scope is moved from a vertical position (e.g., in a holster) to a horizontal position (e.g., when firing)

The elevation and windage adjustments feature tactile clicks. The adjustment screws are slotted and can be operated with any small tool with a flat blade.

The adjustment resolution is 1.5 MOA per click.
