Norma Diamond Line Match ammunition in .308 Winchester caliber with a bullet weight of 168 grains (10.9 grams) was specially developed for precision shooters. It is characterized by outstanding accuracy and consistent performance. The bullet used is a molybdenum-coated Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT), which ensures an optimized trajectory and reduced friction in the barrel. This coating not only contributes to the barrel’s longevity but also to consistent accuracy over many shots.
With a ballistic coefficient (G1) of 0.462 and a muzzle velocity of approximately 777 m/s, this ammunition is particularly well-suited for competitive shooting at short to medium ranges. The .308 Winchester, introduced by Winchester in 1952, is known for its excellent accuracy and is therefore preferred by many sport shooters. It offers nearly the same energy as the .30-06 with medium-weight bullets, but fits into shorter bolt-action rifles.
