The B&T KH9 Covert is a compact submachine gun developed and manufactured by B&T in a limited edition of 111 units for the Swiss and EU markets. The KH9’s design is based on the MP9 but has been optimized for covert operations.

The KH9 Covert features a retractable shoulder stock that reduces the weapon’s size when not in use. The weapon has a total length of 632 mm when the shoulder stock is extended and 404 mm when retracted. It weighs 2.5 kg, making the KH9 Covert a very lightweight weapon.

The KH9 Covert comes with a 25-round magazine and can also be used with a 50-round magazine. The firearm features a Picatinny rail on the top of the receiver, which allows for the use of various sighting optics. Additionally, the KH9 Covert has a folding sight.

The firearm uses 9x19 mm Parabellum ammunition, which is standard in both NATO and other armed forces.

The KH9 Covert was developed for use in covert operations and, thanks to its compact size, light weight, and silencer, is exceptionally well-suited for this type of operation.

This small semi-automatic submachine gun features a sophisticated system that allows the grip and magazine well—including the magazine—to fold against the receiver.

This allows the weapon to be made ready for action in seconds; in transport mode, the weapon can be stowed extremely compactly and inconspicuously.
