The PDP fits perfectly in the hand. The tetrahedral structure of the Performance Duty Texture is the result of a long series of intensive development and testing—in the field, in a wide variety of weather conditions, as well as at the shooting range.

Optics Ready

Every PDP is designed for red dot sights. Mounted deep within the slide, the PDP’s excellent sight picture can be fully utilized.

Co-witness sights can be used simultaneously. This allows the dot from the optical sight to be registered quickly and subconsciously.

Thanks to the unique design of the slide, red dots can be integrated almost seamlessly.

Additionally, the unique contouring at the end of the grip provides support for the little finger and aids in instinctively aiming the firearm—like an invisible guide.

Modularity

The PDP is the most modular and versatile pistol Walther has ever built:

Picatinny rail, optics-ready, side-reversible magazine catch, three barrel lengths, and two grip lengths, each with three grip panels.

This makes it ideally prepared for any law enforcement application.

The PDP’s open sights use standard mounting dimensions. When it comes to choosing sights, the aftermarket offers nearly limitless possibilities.

With a magazine funnel, the Performance Duty Pistol becomes a high-performance competitor.

Reliability

The stepped chamber ensures the cartridge case is reliably seated. This allows the PDP to extract more muzzle energy from the ammunition and reduces powder residue inside the firearm. As a result, the PDP performs better over the long term. PDP: “Made to be shot”!

Safety Features

The loaded indicator on the extractor shows whether a cartridge is in the chamber. In addition, trigger, firing pin, and shooter safety (disconnect) mechanisms provide even greater safety.

What’s Included

Two magazines, a loading aid, grip backs in sizes S, M, and L, and a cover for the optical sight mount. Every PDP comes with a bolt catch on both sides, a side-reversible magazine release, and a polygonal barrel.
