The new frame design of the GLOCK 17 Gen5 removes the finger grooves to increase the grip’s versatility, but it can still be customized with various beavertail backstraps. The slide features the superior GLOCK Hard-Surface nDLC coating in non-reflective black.

The slide is equipped with front serrations (FS), which provide an additional tactile surface for handling the slide and allow the operator to maintain a firm grip even with wet or sweaty hands.

The frame’s flared magazine well allows the user to reload more quickly when every fraction of a second counts. A reversible, enlarged magazine catch—which can be replaced by the user—and the ambidextrous slide stop lever are suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters.

Every 5th-generation GLOCK 17 is equipped with the match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB), which offers greater accuracy thanks to its polygonal rifling and an improved muzzle crown.
