The Laugo Arms Alien was designed without compromise for the dynamic sport of IPSC—more specifically, for the Production class, which is gaining increasing popularity. This brings us straight to the most striking feature of this racy 9 mm Luger sport pistol: the barrel, which is set deep within the frame. This significantly reduces the lever ratios that cause a gun to experience muzzle rise. In addition, the barrel is firmly attached to the frame, resulting in less moving mass during the shot, which also promises greater inherent accuracy. This technically interesting pistol is complemented by a gas-operated, gas-braked slide, similar to the one found on the Heckler & Koch P7. The frame is a two-piece design; the lower frame is made of heavy steel, while the grip is made of a light-metal alloy.

Since the sights are also fixed to the frame, they do not move during firing.

This is particularly useful if you want to use a small red dot sight on the gun, as it significantly extends the sight’s service life by reducing stress on it considerably.
