Springfield Armory’s Prodigy™ is based on the proven 1911 platform and expands upon it with double-stack capacity and performance-oriented features. The Prodigy’s polymer grip module is built around a double-stack magazine and attaches to a forged steel frame, offering capacities of 17+1 and 20+1. Equipped with a sight, an ambidextrous safety, and a Picatinny rail, the Prodigy combines the most popular features of the 1911 with modern capacity for unmatched performance.
