The Daniel Defense M4A1 RIII features a fully ambidextrous lower receiver that allows both left- and right-handed shooters to operate the bolt catch, safety, and magazine release without having to remove their dominant hand from the rifle’s grip. The GRIP-N-RIP loading handle is also ambidextrous.

Daniel Defense has replaced the original M4A1’s Picatinny Quad rail with a 12.5-inch RIS-III rail featuring M-LOK mounting to reduce weight while still allowing for the attachment of the M203 grenade launcher. The M4A1 RIII is equipped with a 14.5-inch cold-hammer-forged Government Profile barrel and a permanently mounted Daniel Defense flash suppressor. This rifle also comes with the ergonomic Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip.

A cantonal exemption permit (ABG) is required to purchase this firearm.
