The original Honey Badger was developed at AAC by former owner and Q CEO Kevin Brittingham and his research and development team at the request of a U.S. elite special operations unit that wanted to replace its MP5-SDs with an improved platform.

Among the requirements was the ability to fire a rifle caliber while ensuring low visibility and excellent signature suppression. The Honey Badger was developed for use with the 300 AAC Blackout, exceeded expectations, but never made it to market.

Now, Q has released the Honey Badger. At first glance, this Honey Badger appears to be identical to the original. Q focused on taking the iconic “Badger” to the next level and improved every technical aspect of the first-generation design—from the gas system to the trigger to the telescoping stock.

A cantonal exemption permit (ABG) is required to purchase this firearm.
