The CMMG® DISSENT™ is an AR personal defense weapon like no other. Every DISSENT is equipped with a variety of new features and technologies to maximize portability and modularity, particularly thanks to CMMG®’s patent-pending Compact Action, in which the entire recoil system is housed within the upper receiver, completely eliminating the need for a buffer tube.

Manufactured in 300 BLK, the DISSENT offers .30-caliber power in an ultra-compact package, featuring AR-15 ambidextrous controls and our front, non-sliding side loader, which can be reconfigured for left- or right-handed use. A 1913 Picatinny rail is located at the rear of the lower receiver, allowing you to attach the rail or stock* that best suits your needs.

Every DISSENT is available in a variety of Cerakote finishes to match your style.

Adjustable Gas Block

The 300 BLK is an incredibly versatile cartridge with different loads designed for specific applications, such as suppressed shooting. With the adjustable SLR gas block on every 300 BLK DISSENT, you can adjust the gas system to best suit the supersonic or subsonic ammunition loads you prefer.

TriggerTech AR-D 2-Stage Trigger

The AR-D trigger from TriggerTech was developed in collaboration with CMMG to be fully optimized for use with DISSENT firearms and upper receiver assemblies. With a trigger pull of 4 lb, the AR-D trigger features a light, repeatable break. CMMG does not guarantee optimal DISSENT functionality with Mil-Spec or other aftermarket trigger assemblies.
