The MK12 AR-15-style rifle is the evolution of the specialized, purpose-built rifle. It is built around an 18-inch stainless steel barrel with a chamber created during the cold-hammer forging process, which allows for the most precise alignment of the chamber to the barrel. This, combined with the DLC coating, results in unparalleled accuracy and durability. The MK12 barrel is designed with a gas block for direct-impulse rifle-length gas systems and utilizes the MK12 gas block, which is built to Crane (Naval Surface Warfare Division) specifications for USSOCOM. The upper receiver is equipped with a 12-inch free-floating Picatinny quad rail for your choice of optics and accessories, an independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle that accommodates both left- and right-handed shooters, and is topped off with an enhanced muzzle brake from Daniel Defense. This precision rifle is equipped with the Geissele SSA 2-stage trigger to give the shooter an advantage in precise target acquisition.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION

LOWER RECEIVER: MIL-spec with an improved flared magazine well and a rear receiver QD (quick-detach) mounting point. CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard-anodized.

UPPER RECEIVER: MIL-spec with index marks and M4 feed ramps. CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard-anodized.

BARREL: Proprietary stainless steel alloy, cold-hammered, 1:7 twist, 18" MK12 profile, DLC-coated, and HP/MPI-tested.

GAS SYSTEM: MK12 low-profile gas block, CNC-machined from hardened 416 stainless steel with a black oxide coating, rifle-length, direct-impingement.

MOUTHPIECE: Daniel Defense muzzle brake, 17-4 PH stainless steel, salt-bath nitride coating.

BOLT CARRIER GROUP: M16 profile, Mil-spec MP-tested, chrome-plated, properly wedged.

BUFFER: H-buffer.

SIGHTS: Sold separately.

HANDGUARD: Daniel Defense DDM4 Rail 12.0, CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, Type III hard anodized.

LOADING HANDLE: GRIP-N-RIP loading handle, housing CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, grips and bolt lever CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, heavy-duty stainless steel rollers, Type III hard anodized.

RECEIVER EXTENSION: 6-position Mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum.

STOCK: Daniel Defense stock, glass-fiber-reinforced polymer with soft-touch coating.

PISTOL GRIP: Daniel Defense pistol grip, glass-fiber-reinforced polymer with soft-touch coating.

RAIL PANELS: Daniel Defense rail panels made of Santoprene, heat-resistant up to 300 °F.
