The DD5V5 Hunter is ideal for hunting enthusiasts. Chambered in either 6.5 Creedmoor or .260 Rem., the DD5V5 Hunter offers users of Daniel Defense’s semi-automatic platform even greater capability for precise long-range shooting by featuring two of the best short-case cartridges for modern long-range shooters. Both the .260 Rem. and the 6.5 Creedmoor leverage superior ballistic coefficients to deliver flatter trajectories and reduced wind drift at a level typically reserved for much heavier, higher-recoil calibers. These gains in ballistic efficiency help the modern shooter extend effective range to 1,000 meters or more. This highly accurate and durable rifle features an adjustable gas block that ensures a consistent feel whether shooting with or without a suppressor. The perfected bolt carrier group reduces overall recoil impulse and is easy to maintain and operate in all conditions.

BARREL: DD proprietary steel, cold-hammered, 1:8" (6.5 Creedmoor), 1:7" (.260 Rem), 20? S2W profile, rifle-length +1 gas system, chrome-plated, Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coated.

GAS SYSTEM: Fixed, user-configurable gas block CNC-machined from hardened 4140 steel with Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating, rifle length +1, direct gas operation.

MUZZLE DEVICE: Daniel Defense Superior Suppression Device, 17-4 PH stainless steel, salt bath nitride finished.

TRIGGER: Geissele Super Semi-Automatic (SSA) 2-stage trigger.

HANDGUARD: Daniel Defense DD5 Rail 15.0, CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, M-LOK mounting.

RECEIVER EXTENSION: 6-position Mil-Spec 7075-T6 aluminum.

STOCK: Daniel Defense stock, glass-filled polymer with soft-touch coating.

PISTOL GRIP: Daniel Defense pistol grip, glass-filled polymer with soft-touch coating.

MAGAZINE: Accepts all SR-25 magazines.
