The DD5 V5, available in 6.5 Creedmoor or .260 Remington calibers, offers users of Daniel Defense’s semi-automatic platform even greater accuracy when shooting at long ranges by featuring two of the best short-case cartridges available today for modern long-range shooters. Both the .260 Rem. and the 6.5 Creedmoor leverage superior ballistic coefficients to deliver flatter trajectories and reduced wind drift at a level typically reserved for long-range rifle calibers with significantly higher recoil. These gains in ballistic efficiency help the modern shooter extend effective range to 1,000 meters or more. This extremely accurate and durable rifle features an adjustable gas block that provides a consistent feel when shooting with or without a suppressor. The perfected bolt assembly reduces overall recoil impulse and is easy to maintain and operate in all conditions.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION

LOWER RECEIVER: Improved funnel magazine well and rear receiver QD pivot. CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard-anodized.

UPPER: CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard-anodized.

BARREL: DD proprietary steel, cold-hammered, 1:8" (6.5 Creedmoor), 1:7" (.260 Rem), 20? S2W profile, Rifle +1 gas system, chrome-plated, Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating.

GAS SYSTEM: User-customizable gas block CNC-machined from hardened 4140 steel and coated with Mil-Spec heavy phosphating, Rifle +1, direct impingement.

MUZZLE DEVICE: Daniel Defense Superior Suppression Device, 17-4 PH stainless steel, salt bath nitride coating.

TRIGGER: Daniel Defense Mil-Spec.

HANDGUARD: Daniel Defense DD5 Rail 15.0, CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, M-LOK mounting, Type III hard anodized.

RECEIVER EXTENSION: 7-position, 7075-T6 aluminum.

STOCK: Daniel Defense stock, glass-fiber-reinforced polymer with soft-touch coating.

PISTOL GRIP: Daniel Defense pistol grip, glass-fiber-reinforced polymer with a soft-touch coating.

MAGAZINE: Accepts all SR-25 magazines.
