APCs in Long-Barrel Calibers

The focus with APCs in long-barrel calibers is on quickly adapting the weapon to the shooter, because long-barreled firearms in police departments are typically not assigned to a specific officer but are passed from shift to shift. The caliber range extends from the APC556 in 5.56 x 45 mm (semi-automatic .223 Rem.) to the APC308 in .308 Win. or 7.62 x 51 mm (semi-automatic only).

This firearm is designed for backup shooters and for operations where increased penetration is critical.

The APC300, chambered for the .300 Whisper or .300 AAC Blackout cartridge, occupies a special position. Its range of applications extends from security-oriented police work—including SWAT operations—to precision marksmanship in urban environments and military operations.

A cantonal exemption permit (ABG) is required to purchase this firearm.
