The LMT UK Reference Rifle is based on the L129A1 rifle adopted by the British Ministry of Defense. This reference rifle brings you as close as possible to the actual weapon system delivered to the United Kingdom.

LMT® Patented Monolithic Modular Weapon System, MWS®—The only true monolithic rail platform, machined from a single solid block of aerospace-grade aluminum. It uses two locking screws accessible from the side of the receiver to secure the barrel extension. This patented technology fully encloses the barrel extension with 360-degree contact and allows the barrel to be changed in seconds—with a “return to zero” function. A single receiver can be used with various barrels of different lengths, materials, and calibers.

The CQBMWS upper receiver features a full-length Picatinny rail measuring 19.25? at the 12 o’clock position, 9? at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, and 7? at the 6 o’clock position.

The MWS® barrels are equipped with a low-profile gas block and a straight gas tube. They feature a proprietary coating and are cryogenically treated to ensure long-term durability.

The LM308MWS lower receiver features a precision EDM-machined two-stage trigger, a magazine release and safety lever operable from either side, a buttplate with a QD sling swivel, an ergonomically textured grip from LMT®, and a SOPMOD cheek rest. As with all LMT® lower receivers, the buffer tube is coated with a dry lubricant film.
