TriggerTech

TriggerTech was founded by Mats Lipowski, a mechanical engineer with 14 patents, and his longtime friend and fellow mechanical engineer Greg Baniak. The idea came about when Lipowski missed a perfect shot while hunting with a crossbow due to a stiff, uneven trigger. As a former competitive shooter, he quickly realized that better trigger technology was needed.

Together, the two engineers developed the first prototype of the Zero Creep Trigger for an Excalibur crossbow in 2012. This prototype made an immediate impression: The trigger could reliably hold a draw weight of 280 pounds while simultaneously providing an extremely smooth, clean trigger travel of only about 1.5 pounds. Even at that early stage, it was clear just how great the potential of their friction roller system was.

Today, TriggerTech has become a preferred partner for numerous leading manufacturers. Its triggers are extremely popular among professional shooters as well as recreational shooters and hunters.
