Grünig + Elmiger

Daniel and Rolf Grünig, the sons of Kurt Grünig, run the company as a family-owned business.

In 2007, the modern hunting and shooting sports center in Malters opened. The store carries a wide selection of sporting firearms, hunting gear, and recreational equipment.

At their in-house, state-of-the-art shooting range, you can test-fire at 10-meter and 50-meter targets to help you find the optimal ammunition for your needs.

Digital analysis of your shooting results allows for precise fine-tuning.

In our gunsmith shop, firearms can be checked for proper function and repaired if necessary.

Before leaving for London in 1948, the future Olympic champion said to his wife:

"If I’m ever going to succeed, it will be now!"

Kurt Grünig’s uncle, Walther Lienhard, founded the W. Lienhard firearms factory in 1922. As a five-time world champion, he was ideally suited to develop modern and competitive sporting firearms.

Kurt Grünig and Heinz Elmiger took over production in 1962 and founded Grünig + Elmiger AG. In 1968, the company finally relocated to Malters.
