The Light Cap is equipped with an integrated lever that allows the shooter to remove the Light Cap from the light’s bezel for quick deployment of the white light. The included Ranger strap allows the Light Cap to be kept near the bezel when removed, so it can be quickly placed back over the bezel.

The Light Cap also serves as protection against accidental white light emissions that would reveal the user’s position. This is particularly important when using night vision devices and IR lasers/illuminators, where an unplanned white light emission can have catastrophic consequences.

Weapon lights aren’t the only application for the Light Cap. It can also be attached to helmet-mounted flashlights or other rail-mounted lighting solutions you may need.
