The Light Cap is equipped with an integrated lever that allows the shooter to remove the Light Cap from the light’s bezel so that the white light can be activated quickly. The included Ranger strap allows the Light Cap to be kept near the bezel when it is removed, so that it can be quickly placed back over the bezel.

The Light Cap also serves as protection against accidental light emissions that would give away the user’s position. This is particularly important when using night vision devices and IR lasers/illumination, where an unplanned white light emission can have catastrophic consequences.

Weapon lights aren’t the only application for the Light Cap. It can also be attached to helmet-mounted flashlights or other rail-mounted lighting solutions you may need.
