Arisaka Defense Inline Scout Mount M-LOK

The patented Arisaka Inline Scout Mount was specifically designed for flashlights that use the scout-style mounting platform. It replaces the stock Picatinny rail adapter with a flat mount for M-LOK handguards. The mount is particularly useful for handguards with a 45-degree angle, such as the BCM MCMR, Geissele Automatics SMR MK4, MK8, and MK16, Daniel Defense MFR, KAC URX4, ALG Defense EMR, MI Gen 3, Mega MML, and Mega/Hodge Wedge Lock.

When the Inline Scout Mount is used on a 45-degree angled mounting surface, the user can position the light closer to or farther from the top 12 o’clock rail to make room for sights or other accessories. There are three positions available, allowing for an offset of 0.12" to either side of the center. The base of the Surefire Scout Light sits just 0.2" above the mounting surface.

Mounting Note: To keep the overall length of the mount as short as possible, it is necessary to unscrew the lamp’s end cap to access the front-most mounting screw.

This mount is not intended for cantilevered use, where it hangs off the end of the handguard. Otherwise, the mount may fail if the light is subjected to a strong impact.

Compatibility with rifle scopes varies depending on the mounting position on 45-degree angle handguards:

1. Top left, 45 degrees flat: Most sights work, including the MBUS Pro, Knight’s Armament Micro, Troy folding, and Diamondhead. The MBUS Gen II works if positioned to allow clearance for the release lever.

2. Top right, 45 degrees flat: Due to the Surefire Scout Light’s asymmetrical body, the placement of the front sight and the light is more critical with this setting. Smaller sights such as the MBUS Pro and Knight’s Armament Micro work well, but the Troy, Diamondhead, and MBUS Gen II will not be able to clear the main body where the screw holes for the Picatinny adapter are located. This means that one or the other part must be moved forward or backward to achieve adequate clearance. Another option is to use an Arisaka 300 Series Light Body or 600 Series Light Body, which offer plenty of clearance.

Compatible with the Modlite 183560 and 18650 housings/lamps, Surefire M300A, M300B, M300C, M600B, M600C, M600P, M600U, M600V, M600DF, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X, as well as the Arisaka 300 and 600 Series. The Streamlight Protac Rail Mount HL-X requires a shortened 1/8" Allen wrench to tighten the front mounting screw. You can modify your own tool or add one to your Inline Scout mount as shown above.

The mount is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard-anodized to MIL-A-8625 Type III specifications. Includes the necessary screws for attaching the light body to the mount. Requires a 1/8" and 5/64" Allen wrench for installation (not included). Cerakote coating provided by Weapon Works LLC. Made in the USA.
