Efficient barrel cleaning with Real Avid's Speed Clean System

Double the bristle density compared to standard brushes for maximum scrubbing power. Stiff, nickel-plated phosphor bronze bristles reduce chemical degradation inside the bore and extend the brush’s service life. To achieve maximum effectiveness, there must be an optimal balance between bristle density and bristle flexibility.

The bristle configuration of the Bore-Max Speed Brush offers maximum bristle density with sufficient flexibility to effectively reach into the ridges and grooves. The elongated Speed Jag features multiple compression rings along its entire length. Bore-Max Speed Jags and patches are precisely dimensioned to provide optimal compression and contact for cleaning the inside of the bore. They are dense along their entire length but can still be compressed relatively easily.

The Speed Jag and Patch System delivers more patch material into the bore, eliminates lint buildup, and maximizes the effectiveness of each pass. Speed Patches are made of a synthetic material that has greater absorbency than cotton. This material is also more effective at absorbing and trapping debris. A single pass through the bore with a Speed Jag and Speed Jag Patch delivers the same results as pushing through up to 4 or more conventional jags and square patches.

Manufacturer’s warning: Speed Jags and Speed Jag Patches are precisely sized for an ideal fit. Use Speed Jag Patches only with Speed Jags and Speed Jags only with Speed Jag Patches. Otherwise, the prongs may become jammed in the bore.
