The Geissele Gas Block Pin Punch Set is specifically designed for removing and installing the 0.078" roller pin that secures the gas tube to the gas block of an AR-15/AR-10. Removing a rusted-in gas block roll pin has always been a challenge, as there are no commercially available pin punches with a 0.078" diameter. Additionally, 1/16" punches (0.062") tend to bend, and there are very few entry-level punches with a 1/16" diameter.

The Geissele Gas Block Pin Punch Set makes working on the gas block much easier. The first punch you’ll use when removing the roll pin is the Starter Punch. This is the punch with the long, tapered end. The long, tapered end is much more resistant to bending and kinking than the straight shaft of the split pin driver. Use the split pin driver to set the split pin in motion. Then use the split pin driver to drive the split pin out completely. The Geissele Gas Block Splint Driver Set is made from properly hardened and tempered 01 tool steel. The gas block punch set is considered a wear part, meaning it will wear out over time and will need to be replaced. Geissele does not replace tools that have been damaged due to improper use or normal wear and tear.
