During this time, the sight of the M16/M4 in the capable hands of young Americans has symbolized hope for countless millions of people around the world.

With the introduction of the USASOC URGI, this quintessentially American silhouette has changed forever. The Geissele Super Modular Rail MK16 handguard, the drop-forged barrel, and the medium-length gas system combine to form a package that measurably increases the probability of a hit. The USASOC URGI was developed for the new M855A1 (AB57) ammunition and fully leverages its capabilities. Once installed on an existing system, the USASOC URGI essentially becomes a completely new weapon. The USASOC URGI is virtually an exact replica of the upper receiver assembly currently in use by USASOC.
