DDM4®V7® Upper Receiver Group

The DDM4 V7 AR15-style upper receiver group is built around a cold-hammered 16-inch barrel and features an improved Daniel Defense flash suppressor to reduce the muzzle flash signature. The mid-length gas system ensures smooth and reliable cycling as well as reduced wear on moving parts.

The free-floating MFR 15.0 handguard offers significant weight savings, excellent cooling, ergonomics, and modularity, while ensuring the strength and durability characteristic of Daniel Defense. With M-LOK mounting points in 7 positions and a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail on top, the V7 Upper Receiver Group offers ample space for sights, scopes, and accessories. The ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle is suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters. All Daniel Defense upper receiver groups come standard with an M16 bolt carrier group profile.

Upper Receiver: Mil-Spec with indexing marks and M4 feed ramps, CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard-anodized.

Barrel: Chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel, cold-hammered, 1:7 twist, 16" Government profile, mid-length gas system, chrome-plated, Mil-Spec heavy-duty phosphate-coated, and HP/MPI tested.

Gas system: Pinned low-profile gas block, CNC-milled from 4140 hardened steel, mid-length, direct impingement technology, Mil-Spec heavy phosphate finish.

Muzzle device: Daniel Defense flash suppressor, 17-4 PH stainless steel, salt bath nitrided.

Bolt Carrier Group: M16 profile, Mil-Spec MP-certified, chrome-plated, gas key correctly pinned.

Sights: Sold separately.

Handguard: Daniel Defense MFR 15.0, CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, M-LOK-compatible, Type III hard anodized.

Charging Handle: GRIP-N-RIP, CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum (body) and 6061-T6 aluminum (grips & latch), stainless steel roll pins, Type III hard-anodized.

Grip: Daniel Defense Vertical Grip, made of glass-fiber-reinforced polymer, M-LOK compatible.
