The DD5 V5 Upper Receiver Group, available in 6.5 Creedmoor or .260 Remington calibers, offers users of Daniel Defense’s semi-automatic platform improved accuracy for long-range shooting. Both calibers are among the best short-action cartridges for modern long-range shooters and feature superior ballistic coefficients for flatter trajectories and less wind drift—while also delivering lower recoil energy compared to heavier long-action calibers. This ballistic efficiency enables effective ranges of 1,000 meters or more.

The DD5 V5 Upper Receiver Group includes an adjustable gas block for consistent shooting—with or without a suppressor. The optimized bolt carrier group reduces recoil impulse and is easy to maintain and operate under all conditions.

Gas system: Adjustable gas block, CNC-machined from 4140 hardened steel, Rifle +1, direct impingement technology, Mil-Spec heavy phosphate finish.

Muzzle device: Daniel Defense Superior Suppression Device, 17-4 PH stainless steel, salt bath nitrided.
