DD4™RIII™S Upper Receiver Group

The DD4™ RIII™S AR-15-style upper receiver group features an 11.5-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel in a Government profile with a Daniel Defense flash suppressor, a GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, and a carbine-length gas system.

The model features a 10.5-inch lightweight RIS III rail, based on the revolutionary RIS II two-piece handguard rail developed for SOCOM. This rail features M-LOK mounting points to save weight. All Daniel Defense Upper Receiver Groups come standard with an M16 bolt carrier group profile.

Materials and Construction:

Upper Receiver: Mil-Spec with indexing marks and M4 feed ramps, CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard-anodized.

Barrel: Chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel, cold-hammered, 1:7 twist, 11.5" Government profile, chrome-plated, Mil-Spec heavy-duty phosphate-coated, and HP/MPI-tested.

Gas System: Pinned low-profile gas block, CNC-machined from 4140 hardened steel, carbine-length, direct impingement technology, Mil-Spec heavy phosphate finish.

Muzzle device: Daniel Defense flash suppressor, 17-4 PH stainless steel, salt bath nitrided.

Bolt Carrier Group: M16 profile, Mil-Spec MP-certified, chrome-plated, gas key correctly pinned.

Sights: Sold separately.

Handguard: Daniel Defense RIS III, 10.5 inches, patented 6-bolt mounting system, CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.

Charging Handle: GRIP-N-RIP, CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum (body) and 6061-T6 aluminum (grips & latch), stainless steel roll pins, Type III hard-anodized.
