Medium Handguard with Long Top Cover | AK-74/AKM

The CRC 1U020B is a new mid-length handguard with a long gas tube cover.

The redesigned lower handguard section features:

· New mounting points for the upper cover

· New mounting points for the handguard

· Compatibility with long and short gas tube covers

· Space to store the cleaning rod in its standard position

The new gas pipe cover features:

· Full coverage of the gas tube

· Integrated Picatinny rail

· M-LOK interface

· Compatibility:

· AKM

· AKS-74 (with standard folding stock)

· Arsenal SLR 104 FR

· Arsenal SLR 106

· Their civilian variants

· Riley Defense stamped full-size AKs (47, 74, and 5.56)

· PSA Full-Size AKs (GF3, GF4, and GF5)

· Other AKM rifles with stamped receiver

Important Note:

Gas escapes from the front section of the upper receiver during firing. The escape point may vary depending on the rifle model. If these M-LOK slots are not used for mounting accessories, the manufacturer recommends installing a short Picatinny rail (e.g., CRC 9004) or M-LOK covers.

Unchanged features of the new mid-length handguard:

· Rugged aluminum construction

· M-LOK interface for attaching accessories

· Mounts to the stock mounting points—no modifications to the firearm required

· Compatible with the original gas tube as well as gas tubes from other manufacturers

· Package includes the upper and lower handguard sections

· The lower handguard section can also be used separately
