Acheron KWS RAIL SYSTEM SG 553 Type 2 with Clamping Screws

The Acheron KWS Rail System for the SG 55x rifle family provides a stable platform for mounting accessories. Unlike standard handguards on the market, the Acheron KWS Rail System is connected to the rifle without any play. This allows for the attachment of night vision devices and laser sights without movements of the handguard causing the point of impact to shift. As a result, the weapon can be adapted to meet modern requirements, significantly enhancing its combat effectiveness.

The dimensions of the top-mounted rail comply with the NATO standard STANAG 4694 and, consequently, also with the American standard MIL-STD-1913.

The M-LOK system ensures the mounting of additional accessories such as flashlights or foregrips. The increased air circulation improves heat dissipation, thereby keeping the barrel temperature lower.

Made of high-strength aluminum and hard-anodized, these handguards are ideally suited even for the toughest operations.

This version is compatible with the SG 553 featuring a barrel nut that is not aligned horizontally.

Compatibility

Compatible with the SG 552/553 featuring a second-generation welded mounting rail. The top-mounted NAR rail sits flush with the bolt carrier’s mounting rail.
