Magpul ELG M-LOK Handguard - 1895

The Enhanced Lever Gun (ELG) M-LOK Hand Guard is a handguard for lever-action rifles, designed to optimize the functionality of the Marlin 1895 series of lever-action rifles. The handguard is 12" long and attaches to the rifle via a patented mechanism that requires the user to simply remove the OEM or aftermarket handguard and the end cap.

The ELG handguard features six (6) M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions for mounting a variety of accessories that help the shooter get the most out of their classic hunting or home defense firearm. If a shooter wants the versatility of the M-LOK system but wishes to maintain the clean look of the firearm while also improving grip stability when firing modern, high-recoil .45-70 Gov’t cartridges, the ELG handguard is compatible with both Type 1 and Type 2 Magpul rail covers. The ELG features an integrated hand stop at the front of the handguard.

The ELG Hand Guard currently fits ONLY Marlin 1895-pattern rifles equipped with the Hand Guard Retaining Cap. It does not fit 1894/336-pattern rifles without modifications and requires a dovetail hand guard pin, which must be added to any rifle with a barrel band to retain the OEM hand guard.
