We are proud to offer a direct-replacement 3-position gas regulator for the CZ Bren 2S and MS. Our optimized gas regulator assembly includes both a new body and piston, both carefully calibrated to provide absolute reliability and consistent output for a specific caliber and barrel length. Each gas regulator features three different gas settings: low, medium, and high. These three settings function as follows:

1. Low setting: Ideal for shooting with suppressed ammunition or ammunition with extremely high pressure.

Position 2 (Medium): Standard operating position, optimized for consistent ejection with commercially available ammunition.

3. High setting: Use this when you need more gas to operate the system. Possible scenarios for the “High” setting include using steel-cased ammunition in 5.56 models, using lower-pressure ammunition—such as subsonic rounds in 7.62×39 models—or using extremely fouled systems in any model.

Strategically placed holes in the regulator knob section allow it to be turned by hand or with a loose 5.56/7.62 cartridge. This facilitates gas adjustment when using extended handguards on 11? and 14? Bren 2 models.

Our gas piston is precision-machined to fit the gas regulator body; we maintain a tolerance of 0.0005? or less between these two components.Our gas pistons feature a high-performance electroless nickel plating that not only reduces friction between the piston and the regulator but also helps the assembly resist carbon buildup; in our tests, this has reduced maintenance requirements by extending the time between cleaning intervals compared to factory components.

NOTE: Our regulators are compatible with all HBI Gen 2 handguards as well as factory/custom handguards. These regulators are not compatible with HBI Gen 1 handguards (10.8?).
