The Airborne Charging Handle (ACH) was originally developed at the request of an elite organization known for its expertise in airborne operations. Now adopted by USASOC and tested in the most challenging environments, the USASOC ACH now features a roller inscribed with “Geissele Automatics” and the ACH’s NSN number, thereby reducing the amount of laser engraving and minimizing its visual signature. The flat lever design remains unchanged, reducing the risk of snagging on the gear train. The lever surfaces are knurled to ensure reliable operation while wearing gloves or during operations in less-than-ideal weather conditions. The Geissele USASOC ACH features a gas deflector on the rear that redirects gas recoil when firing with short barrels and suppressed weapon systems. The ambidextrous USASOC ACH is 3D-milled from a solid block of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a durable Type 3 hard-coat anodization. The USASOC ACH weighs only 1.42 oz.

The USASOC Airborne Charging Handle is currently in use by USASOC. This version features roll-marked markings instead of laser engravings to reduce its visual signature. The USASOC ACH is available in DDC and black.
