The drop-in charging handle for the CZ Bren 2 has been lengthened by 3.5 mm and widened/raised by 2.1 mm. More important than the dimensional changes is HOW the geometry was altered. The Bren’s stock charging handle is dynamic in that it engages with several other components of the upper receiver. You may have noticed that the stock finger clip rotates in such a way that its angle becomes “zero” or even negative when pulled backward.

HB Industries’ charging handles are designed to have a more positive angle during battery operation and never go into a negative angle when operated. In addition, we’ve added an aggressive hook at the tip of the finger clamp to securely hold the operator’s finger.

Our extended Bren2 charging handle is machined from 6061T6 aluminum and then hard-anodized to MIL-A-8625 specifications. Each charging handle comes with replacement roller pins and a tapered fitting pin to facilitate installation.
