The patented Vickers Padded Sling combines the tactical carrying features of the Vickers Sling with the added comfort of a padded back panel. The 2-inch inline padding does not shift up or down within the sling and is made of closed-cell foam that does not delaminate or gain weight. The front section, featuring the quick-adjust strap, allows the user to lengthen or shorten the sling in an instant—enabling a quick transition from a “hands-free” carrying position to a firing position with a simple pull on the adjuster.

The Vickers Padded Sling attaches directly to fixed-loop firearm attachment systems. Additional hardware can be purchased and mounted to the front and back of the sling to provide additional attachment options for firearms.

Adjustment and Release Mechanism

Nylon Hardware: The new nylon hardware version is made from newly developed DuPont Zytel® nylon, which is lighter, stronger, and more flexible than conventional plastic sling hardware. The majority of BFG slings supplied to the U.S. military are equipped with nylon hardware.

Metal Hardware: The metal-hardware version of the Vickers Padded Sling features a machined aluminum adjuster that is matte black anodized and paired with phosphated steel triggers. The metal-hardware slings offer more strength than is ever needed in a firearm sling.
