The quick-release kit adds an emergency release buckle to a Vickers Combat Applications Sling, UDC Padded Bungee Sling, or other slings with 1.25-inch webbing.

The quick-release kit’s 8-inch webbing can be mounted on slits on standard M4 and CAR15 stocks, standard sling loops, or RMFLs. The kit can be threaded directly through sling loops or used in combination with various sling hardware options that accept 1- or 1.25-inch webbing to allow for a wider range of applications. The ITW Fastex buckle (consisting of a male and female component) provides instant separation from the weapon in the event of an emergency evacuation.
