The GBRS Group “SBS” (Second Best Sling) was developed with the end user in mind. GBRS’s goal is to create a high-performance, minimalist lifting sling that offers the most adjustability without additional material or unwanted weight.

GBRS has tested the materials and attachment points and believes this is currently the best option, prioritizing design and functionality.

The SBS features a long front lead-in with 40 cm of travel that can be tailored to the end user’s body. It also features a 20-inch tail that can be trimmed to optimize the sling’s overall fit and achieve the best performance for the individual. The neck pad’s dimensions are designed for maximum functional comfort and taper at both ends to prevent the carabiner from snagging on the user’s back.

The padding is covered with a four-way stretch weave that allows for smooth movement around the neck or across the back of the gear. The four-inch-long drawcord features two center toggles that can be removed if the shooter prefers a thumb loop instead of the drawcord. We’ve removed the large metal parts typically found in slings and reduced the weight to 76 grams—half the weight of other slings on the market.
