Geissele Super Precision 1-6 - DMMR-1 Reticle

The Super Precision 1-6 from Geissele Automatics is a rugged 1-6x26-mm riflescope designed specifically for the AR platform. The combination of the Geissele DMRR-1 reticle with the scope’s zoom range (true 1x to 6x) allows the user to quickly acquire a target, estimate the distance, and shoot accurately at short to medium ranges. A 26-mm objective lens increases light transmission, allowing the extremely high-quality lenses to deliver a crystal-clear and vivid image that is both sharp and true to color. This riflescope features a 30-mm tube and is constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. It is available in either black or DDC Type 3 hard-anodized finishes.

The DMRR-1 reticle is custom-designed by Geissele Automatics and allows the user to quickly estimate distance and place firepower at the ranges most useful to most shooters. By using MILs, our DMRR-1 reticle is not tied to a single caliber, making our riflescope suitable for a wide variety of platforms and applications. There are also half-mil markings to assist with finer adjustments. The distance estimation feature (accurate at 6x magnification) of the DMRR-1 reticle enables quick and effective rangefinding of a standard target at distances of 300, 400, and 500 meters using shoulder width or the shoulder-to-waist ratio. Since the DMRR-1 reticle is a second focal plane, it maintains its size across all zoom levels of the riflescope. Six illumination levels are achieved via a crosshair in the center of the reticle, which increases the usable brightness compared to a single centered dot.

Geissele optics are developed in-house by Geissele engineers (with the exception of the internal lens system). The optics are manufactured by a long-standing, high-quality optics manufacturer in Japan.
