Geissele Super Precision Scope Mount - High Power Mount (Long)

The Super Precision High-Power Rifle “National Match” scope mount was developed specifically for the stringent requirements of high-power competitive shooting. The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) recently amended the Service Rifle Rules to allow optical sights. When shooting from the “position” and with the rifle in hand, conventional scope mounts are too high to allow for a good cheek weld and do not permit the scope to be moved forward to achieve the correct eye relief. These Super Precision High-Power mounts were designed with an extremely forward scope position and a height of 1.300" above the Picatinny rail, allowing scopes such as the Nightforce Comp SR 4x24 to be used effectively.

Machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum, with a mounting surface that spans 7 Picatinny sections and utilizes 4 shear tabs. These mounts use Geissele’s updated version of the classic nut-and-bolt method to clamp the mount to the Picatinny rail—the safest and most reliable way to attach your scope to your firearm. For shooting sports other than NM shooting, you can take advantage of the High-Power Short Scope’s strong cheek weld, whose forward scope positioning works even with a normal eye relief. The High-Power Long Scope should only be considered for NM shooting.
