Precision in Critical Situations: The New EOTECH DCR

With the EOTECH DCR (Danger Close Reticle), EOTECH is introducing a new reticle designed specifically for tactical applications in demanding environments. This optical masterpiece offers both professional users and discerning recreational shooters an unbeatable combination of speed, precision, and reliability.

The DCR reticle is a variation of the popular EOTECH “Speed Ring” circle/dot reticle, but addresses the shift in the point of aim and point of impact that occurs during close-range shots when the center dot is zeroed for long range. The 68 MOA width is retained, but the upper portion of the circle is removed to achieve a cleaner look. The lower portion of the ring has also been removed and replaced with an easy-to-find chevron, which serves as a reference point for close-range shooting.

The EXPS3-DCR is the most compact model ever. It is smaller and lighter than the other Holosights and is powered by just one CR123 battery. With the new battery configuration, there is more space on the Picatinny rail than ever before. Battery life is approximately 600 hours. The reticle is parallax-free. The integrated 2 M.O.A. repeatable quick-release mount for Picatinny and Weaver rails raises the unit by 7 mm.

Compared to the XPS3, the controls have been moved to the side. This allows the EOTECH Magnifier G30/G33/G43/G45 to be mounted directly behind the device. The rail length required for mounting is only 67 mm.
