regardless of the equipment, e.g., EarPro/Comms headsets, gas masks/CBRN, and night vision devices. A higher-mounted sight allows for a more athletic posture and an upright stance, enabling the user to maintain a vertical spine, which impacts body armor effectiveness or presents a “plate” profile to the threat. This “head-up” style enables faster processing speed and better situational awareness.
