MODULAR ADVANCED WEAPON LASER - C1+

The MAWL®-C1+ is the world’s first commercially available NIR and visible green laser sight featuring Class 1+™ technology. The MAWL®-C1+ retains all the ergonomic, intuitive, modular, and interface improvements of the MAWL®-DA and offers higher infrared illumination power than any FDA Class 3R or Class 1 laser on the market.

Compared to other commercially available laser devices, the MAWL®-C1+ features a significantly larger illumination area, as well as an improved beam pattern and better beam quality across all ranges. The laser’s design simplifies complex multi-position switches, consolidating these options into the settings you need: close range, medium range, and long range—each with the appropriate power and divergence.

With a height of just 0.37" above the rail, the buttons are lower than on any other device and fit perfectly with standard weapon lights and micro-BUIS. It’s also fully ambidextrous: simply swap out the end cap and head and reassemble it to use it for left-handed shooters.

Divergence has been reduced across all MAWL settings to achieve greater clarity and illumination at longer ranges while simultaneously minimizing the potential illumination of nearby objects that could distract the shooter, such as blades of grass, shrubs, vegetation, etc. In this context, we have removed the stacked divergences at medium ranges to allow for different settings that match end-users’ preferences.

Intuitive and Immediate Operation: All (A) buttons are designed for longer ranges with tighter deviations, and all (B) buttons for shorter ranges with wider deviations.

Performance & Irradiance: Based on the numbers, it may appear that the illuminance is lower than before, but please note that the divergences have also decreased. For the clear identification and illumination of targets at all distances, this is not only sufficient but also the most suitable.

“Ride the Slide”: The current settings allow the end user to edit multiple zones with any divergence pattern—whether high, medium, or low—with a double-click. For example, an operator can use only the (B) button within a structure and switch between low/medium/high within the broader (B) button setting while moving quickly through stairwells, hallways, and rooms. The same applies to quickly adjusting the (A) button in an urban outdoor environment where constantly on IR illumination poses a hazard.

Triple-click

The MAWL-C1+ has been expanded with two additional settings, enabling two more operating modes. Whereas there were previously 6 settings, there are now 8, offering the end user a greater number of options depending on the environment and application.

A new high-power “TripleClick” function has been added, giving the end user more control at longer distances. Pressing button (A) or (B) three times [PUSH-PUSH-HOLD] activates or deactivates alternative divergence and power settings in long-range mode. This ensures that the settings for close, medium, and long ranges are best suited to the sensitivity of both modern and older night vision devices.

Triple-Click High-Power Pointer/Illumination: This more powerful illuminator and pointer provide better beam visibility at longer distances. This results in a more powerful pointer, which is advantageous for identifying target reference points, penetrating darkness, and/or overcoming photonic barriers at a distance.

Triple-Click High-Power Pointer Only: This pointer offers the capabilities of a Commander’s Pointer for ground-to-ground or air-to-ground integration and provides clear, precise target marking.
