The Holosun IRIS-4-RD-IR is a targeting laser (visible + IR + IR laser illuminator) housed in an ultra-compact 7075 aluminum casing—deliberately flatter and lighter than its predecessor, with a centrally located trigger button for ambidextrous operation. This advanced system integrates co-aligned visible red and infrared (IR) targeting lasers, enabling precise sighting in daylight with the visible laser and a seamless transition to IR functionality for nighttime operations. A powerful 60-mW VCSEL IR emitter, when used with night vision devices, delivers outstanding performance in low-light conditions and darkness. A top-mounted beam adjustment control allows for quick, glove-friendly adjustment of the IR beam from wide to narrow for optimal performance across various engagement distances.

Ideal for users who want a bright green dot during the day and wish to switch to IR at night when using night vision devices. Two independent trigger buttons allow for tactile, ambidextrous control of the laser and light functions, while the updated, rear-mounted on/off and mode selector offers optimized control. The IRIS module offers four operating modes, each with two brightness levels. The user can choose between a red laser, an IR laser, a VCSEL laser illuminator, and a white LED light, all of which are available in two power levels. The included three-button remote switch connects via a Crane connector and features a visible laser override function for quick activation. For versatile power supply options, the IRIS-RD4 supports both the included rechargeable 18650 battery via USB-C and two CR123A batteries, ensuring a reliable power supply in any operating environment.
